This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and southeast Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Minor flooding is ongoing along portions of the Wabash River.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
A broken line of thunderstorms will develop ahead of an approaching
cold front Wednesday afternoon. While the exact areal extent of
storms remains uncertain, confidence is growing that scattered cells
will focus along and east of the I 55 corridor. Some of the storms
may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts of around 60mph and
hail larger than quarters. The primary time frame for possible severe
weather will be between 4pm and 10pm.
Minor flooding will continue for several days along portions of the
Wabash River.
