This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and west central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible tonight especially after
midnight. The risk of severe storm is low tonight. Minor to Moderate
flooding will continue on the Illinois River.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Occasional scattered thunderstorms are possible Thursday through
Friday evening. There is still a chance of thunderstorms from
overnight Friday night through Saturday night. There a Marginal Risk
for severe thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening south of
I 74.
Hot and humid conditions will arrive Sunday and persist into next
week. Minor to moderate heat risk is likely, and these conditions
may lead to heat related illness in sensitive individuals or those
without access to effective cooling.
Minor to moderate flooding will continue on the Illinois River the
next several days.
