This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and east
central Illinois, mainly from near the I 55 corridor east to the
Indiana border.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
South winds gusting over 40 mph at times will diminish by sunset,
though gusts over 30 mph will linger into the evening east of I 57.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
A mix of rain and snow Wednesday evening will change to all snow,
before ending Thursday morning. A bit of freezing rain cannot be
ruled out south of I 72. Some slushy accumulation may impact the
Thursday morning commute, with about a 20 to 40 percent chance of
more than inch of snow.
