The remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine are forecast to move from the southern Plains into the mid-Mississippi Valley tonight through Thursday night. As the system and its tropical moisture interact with a warm front, it will produce a swath of very heavy rain from eastern Oklahoma...across southern Missouri and northwest Arkansas...into southern Illinois. Because of this threat, Flash Flood Watches have been issued for much of the southern half of Missouri and parts of southwest Illinois.
