Central Illinois Forecast Intense Heat to Start the Week Severe Weather Outlook

Severe weather chances will be present Sunday through Monday night, but confidence in timing and coverage remains low at this point. The better chances for severe storms looks to be on Monday. The models are struggling with the clusters of storms that are expected, and how they will evolve. The cold front on Monday is providing somewhat higher confidence in storms across the area. Damaging winds are the main concern, while tornado potential will be minimal.
